I'm on my porch, surrounded by trees, speaking this into existence.
I didn't sit at a computer to make this. I'm a programmer, a music producer — most of my artistry lives behind a screen. But I'm in a creative rebirth.
I want to be in flow, capturing ideas as they come. The trees ground me. Out here, they arrive on their own.
I built a personal agent with OpenClaw, and now I'm testing Meta's Muse. This blog is agent-first. What does that mean?
An "agent" is AI that acts for you: it remembers, reasons, and takes steps toward a goal without you steering every move. Agent-first means the publication is built API-first — the backstage machinery lets the agent press every button: writing, publishing, previewing. To you it's just a publication, like Substack; under the hood, the agent runs it.
My agent walks with me — catches my voice notes, knows my style, and handles the rest.
Everyone's arguing whether AI creativity is really art. I'd rather ask: when did you last create like a kid?
The inner child doesn't create at a desk. He plays. She's curious. They make things without checking whether society approves.
Last time I wrote about the masculine and feminine in creativity — same teaching. My biggest and best ideas arrive when I'm relaxed — that's the feminine: open, receptive, not forcing anything. Not a fixed identity — a way of being, in all of us.
So the question I'm living with: how do I cater to that energy? The agent is my answer. It provides creative support while I stay in a relaxed state.
Everything is changing — geopolitics, AI, the world's pace. I don't want a creative life that needs big institutions to survive. I want a life built on freedom.
Meet me out here, under the trees, healing my relationship with my inner child.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for staying soft.
Thank you for creating like a kid, fellow artist.
